Skip the high calorie salad dressing…
The real reason we use salad dressing is that plain salads can actually be, sadly, a bit boring. Try including some tasty ingredients like:-
- Salt and pepper
- Grated carrot
- Very finely chopped red onion (I slice a red onion then freeze the slices. This makes it very easy to keep and chop up a slice or two into a salad as required). It’s not overwhelming, it just adds another dimension of flavor.
- Lemon, lime or orange juice squeezed over.
- Some chilli flakes
- Some grated cheese

Fresh herbs are another great idea.
