Green tea and dark chocolate are definitely helpful due to the antioxidant polyphenols. I'm glad that you pointed out that the benefit of green tea, is not from caffeine. The book The Caffeine Blues will open your eyes as to how problematic caffeine can be, especially as we age.

The best heart disease and stroke prevention is eating whole foods and avoiding sugar, saturated fat, and stimulating drugs like caffeine. Nutritional supplements may also be very beneficial, especially flavonoids.

Enjoy tea time instead of a coffee break :)
