I have something very unpleasant to tell you about your colon.
If you’re like the average person you may have a toxic build-up of putrefied matter trapped in and fouling your colon.
This nasty toxic matter (which could weigh up to 10 pounds) prevents proper absorption of nutrients, as well as poisoning your body. The toxic build-up is so bad for you on so many levels I don’t quite know where to start.
So, how about at the top?
A build-up of toxic waste in your colon can cause conditions like:-
- Hair loss
- Headaches, fatigue, decreased energy
- Poor memory and concentration
- Bad smelling breath and belching
- Impaired immune system causing reduced resistance to infections
- Digestive problems
- Protruding stomach
- Body aches and pains
- Weight gain
- Difficulty losing weight
- Low sex drive and poor sexual performance
The list goes on, including, unfortunately, colo-rectal cancer. In short, a toxic colon is a major factor in chronic illness.
Dr. Norman Walker, author of Colon Health Key to Vibrant Life
says, “The very best of diets can be no better than the very worst, if the sewage system of the colon is clogged with a collection of waste and corruption.” Dr. Norman W. Walker is recognized throughout the world as one of the most authoritative health and nutrition experts of his time. His book, Colon Health, Emphasizes prevention but also promises relief from these afflictions: constipation, fatigue, poor eyesight, hearing loss, asthma, prostate trouble, colds, allergies, nagging backache, respiratory disorders, digestive problems, gas, abdominal pain, colitis, thyroid deficiency, diabetes, and numerous other aliments.
Research has shown that many illnesses can be caused by unhealthy colons. Colds, flu, cancer, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, and allergies are some examples of diseases caused by excessive amounts of low-quality food (like sugary, fatty and salty fast food) combined with poor waste removal.
When you don’t properly pass waste, food may stay in the colon for days, weeks, months, even years, putrefying and then poisoning your entire system. In most cases, seriousness of disease corresponds directly to the level of toxicity.
What is Colon Cleansing?
Colon cleansing is the process of removing impacted waste from the colon, and clearing the colon to allow for proper absorption of vitamins and minerals. Colon cleansing can be a safe and easy process for eliminating toxins from the body and restoring normal muscular activity in the colon.
We all know that a clean, strong and well functioning colon is quintessential to maintaining the best possible health. A dirty, weak and poorly functioning colon, is a serious breeding ground for disease, sickness and death. Serious health problems can arise if the colon is not properly cared for, unfortunately colon health care has been sadly neglected. It’s just not something we are taught .

One Bowel Movement Per Day is Not Enough!
Most doctors will tell you that one bowel movement a day is normal and they are correct. Most people do not have more than that. However, it’s still not healthy. Even if you are “regular” in how often or when you have a bowel movement, it can still be damaging to your system. If you have fewer bowel movements than meals you are not eliminating your waste properly. Visualize the back-up!
Your Diet Determines the Health of Your Colon.
What do we eat too much of?
Fast and processed foods cause us to consume too many calories, fats, sugars and salt.
Today we eat an average of 500+ more calories than we did 30 years ago. In addition, we still feel hungry an hour after eating fast or processed foods. Why? Our bodies are not getting the nutrients we need and we can’t properly absorb any nutrients which fast foods may have. So we eat too much and are still nutrient deprived.
What’s missing from our diets?
We eat less than 1/3 the recommended daily intake of fiber each day, fewer than 13 grams. Fiber is critical to absorbing the toxins we take into our bodies, promote regular elimination and clean the intestinal walls. The bonus, fiber also helps stave off hunger while keeping up our energy levels.
You may not have thought much about enzymes but they are essential to break down the foods so that our bodies can assimilate what little nutrients they may actually have.
What actions should you take?
- Decrease your intake of fast and processed foods
- Increase your intake of natural, uncooked vegetables
- Increase your intake of purified water.
- Consume digestive enzymes!!
