1. As brown rice contains some part of the bran, do I still need to take Nn Stabilized Rice Bran if my diet consists of significant amount of brown rice?
Yes, brown rice does contain some part of the bran however, untreated whole brown rice turns rancid very rapidly as the oil content is very high. Therefore, most of the brown rice available in the market is chemically treated for extended shelf life. Moreover, intact uncooked brown rice contains only 10-12% of the bran, therefore, in order to enjoy the same benefits provided by 12g x 2 servings per day of Nn Stabilized Rice bran, you’d need to consume 200g of uncooked brown rice or 4 bowls of cooked brown rice. Surely you can’t eat raw brown rice, even if you can eat up to 4 bowls of cooked brown rice, heat destroys nutrients. In other words, it’s impossible to enjoy the same benefits as taking Stabilized Rice Bran.
